A man Spanish police want to question over the murder of Ainsdale man Ben Nesbitt has been arrested just 40 miles from the country’s border.
A local judge in Girona ruled that the male, who has not been identified and is yet to be charged, should be detained pending an investigation into the killing.
It’s as reported that Nesbitt had become embroiled in an argument with an unidentified male before the victim was stabbed in the neck. He later died due to the extent of his injuries.
An update from Spanish Police is expected in the coming days.
