Dickinson Parker Hill Solicitors, based in Derby Street, Ormskirk have recently presented a cheque for £5,886 to Twinkle House following their annual Charity Will Month last November.

Each year, Mike Prendergast and Leanne Duff, Partners at Dickinson Parker Hill, and their colleagues hold a Charity Will Month to support local charities and good causes and this year Twinkle House in Skelmersdale was one of the beneficiaries.

Since 2009, the Dickinson Parker Hill Charity Will Month has helped raise almost £160,000 for local charities. Clients from across West Lancashire have benefitted from being able to put in place Wills to ensure their affairs are in order.

Mike Prendergast said, ‘A number of our clients have benefitted from the services that Twinkle House provide the local community so we were happy to be able to support them. We are really pleased to see the monies raised put to good use.”

Deirdre Mitten from Twinkle House said, ‘Our sensory and wellness centre provides vital services to many people across West Lancashire and further afield. The money raised will be put to good use and will help us carry on providing this help.’

During a busy November, staff at the firm saw hundreds of clients between them to help raise the funds.

Mike Prendergast said ‘The Charity Will Month has continued to be very popular. We would like to thanks all those who took part and all of our fantastic staff who helped make this possible.’
