Heavy rain overnight has caused the cancellation of the second day of the Southport Food & Drink Festival.
Sefton Council said: “Due to heavy rain overnight we’re unable to host the Southport Food & Drink Festival today.
“Forecasts look great for tomorrow however and we can’t wait to see everyone return tomorrow at Victoria Park for tasty treats and endless fun!”
The festival will continue to run through Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 6pm.
Entry is free, with a parking charge of £2 on Saturday and £5 on Sunday at the Eco centre.
Rain is expected to continue in Southport until later this afternoon.
