£215k super car impounded on Coastal Road

A brand new £215,000 McLaren 720S has been impounded on the Coastal Road in front of a crowd of hundreds of onlookers.

The owner was pulled over for a breach of section 59 of the Road Traffic Act, specifically for noise violations.

The car was not speeding, and no allegation of speeding was made.

The incident occurred during a large car meet on the Coastal Road.

Officers spent around 15 minutes speaking to the driver in front of hundreds of spectators.

The McLaren 720S coupe retails at £215,000 and carries a 4.0L V8 engine.

The driver had owned the car for less than a week.

The vehicle was then moved to the former Park and Ride site on the Fairway before being recovered onto a transport truck.

OTS understands that the driver has already recovered the vehicle.
