Woodvale and Ainsdale Community Association brings Christmas cheer to local residents

Woodvale and Ainsdale Community Association held a FREE Christmas meal last Tuesday for 32 older members of the community. It was a wonderful afternoon where guests were served a three course meal, listened to children singing Christmas Carols, who also handed out lovely handmade cards to everyone who attended, we held a raffle and a quiz, and everyone went home with a gift.

The day wouldn’t have been possible without all of the support and generous donations from individuals, and local businesses in Woodvale and Ainsdale. Our staff & volunteers worked extremely hard make this a special time.

Sarah Brookfield administrator for WACA says “It was lovely to celebrate the season with so many of our members and to see them enjoying an afternoon full of nice food, good company and Christmas carols sang by the year six pupils of Kings Meadow Primary School. We hope to be able to continue to provide this service in the New Year.”
