Woman taken ill at the wheel in Southport April 4th, 2016 jmr jmr Latest News Shares Comments Photo: Members of the public comfort unwell woman Woman taken ill at the wheel in Southport Emergency services were called the junction of Hesketh Drive and Roe Lane at 1.45pm, Monday 4 April 2016. A member of the public reported that woman had become unwell at the whilst at the junction and she was unable to continue. Members of the public comforted the woman whilst she waited for the paramedics to turn up. Paramedics arrived around 40 minutes after the 999 call followed by three police officers.
