Lit cigarette causes bin blaze on Lord Street, Southport
Merseyside Fire And Rescue Service were called to Lord street today (Monday 6 February) after smoke and flames was seen coming from a litter bin at around 1pm.
The blaze was extinguished within seconds of the firemen arriving at the scene.
One appliance from Southport and community fire station attended the scene.
No one was injured.
