Vandals have returned to Part Street just months after a dispersal order by Merseyside police attempted to curb bad behaviour in the town centre.

A door has been smashed in at Eastbank House overnight on Saturday – and weary residents on nearby Part Street say they are getting sick of being woken at all hours by vandals and youths gathering in the area

One resident said: “we have had another window smashed last night at Eastbank House.

“We have gangs of youths, often with push bikes, hanging around Eastbank House, in the grounds of The Family Centre and in private gardens most evenings. It’s just not safe to go out after dark!”
