Nominate your NHS hero in 2017 Pride Awards

Do you know a member of staff working at our hospitals or community health services who deserves special recognition?

Members of the public are being invited to nominate a member of staff at Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust for an honour in the annual Pride Awards.

Iain McInnes, interim Chief Executive, said: “The People’s Choice Award is a fantastic way for patients and families to show their individual appreciation to a particular member of staff or team for the treatment or care they have received.”

Any member of staff, in any role, is eligible for a nomination providing they work for the Trust. Nominations for the People’s Choice Award close on Saturday 8 April 2017.

To make a nomination, go to the Trust website and follow the link from the front page. Alternatively, contact the Trust on 01704 704714 for a nomination form.

The Pride Awards, now in their ninth year, are for hospital staff and teams or those working in community health services who deserve special recognition for their excellence and professionalism.

In addition to the People’s Choice Award, staff are invited to nominate their colleagues in a further six categories. There are also special awards for outstanding achievement and lifetime achievement.

The awards take place at the Floral Hall, Southport Theatre and Convention Centre, on Friday 16 June.
