The rail was provided to help Barbra when pottering around her garden which she still enjoys. Barbra has also been offered 2 weeks respite at Byng House located on the promenade Southport. Barbara was over the moon when receiving the news in the post. Barbra was given this great opportunity as she served in the Armed forces. Barbara was in the ATS she served in Scotland in 1944 for 2 years. At Byng House guests are never at a loose end for things to do, with entertainment every night and day trips around the town. All food and drinks are provided which means no cooking for Barbara for a couple of weeks! Barbra will be given 5 star care with comfy surroundings which will be very beneficial for her as she lives alone and is 88 years old. Barbra’s family would like to thank all at Byng house for this wonderful opportunity for Barbara, it has been a tough year for her as she has just recently lost her son and deserves this break.
