Large pothole appears Milton Street, Southport

A two foot wide pothole has appeared on Milton Street, Southport this afternoon (Tuesday 7th June 2016) after a car parked over a dip in the road.

A Milton Street resident said: “The pothole requires immediate attention and Sefton Council Highways department will be here shortly. The hole very deep and it’s only a mater of time before the road caves in.

“Contractors resurfaced the area only a couple of moths ago but it collapsed again – talk about papering over cracks!.”
