Heart & Soul Community Cafés Pay it Forward Scheme has now made its first meal donations through a partnership with Southport Foodbank and Parenting 2000.
Ray Moore the Project Manager at the café said “Thanks to some very kind donations since we opened in April we are now able to pass those donations on to families and adults through the provision of a free meal and drink at the café.
We are pleased to be making these donations through the Foodbank and Parenting 2000 as they are in regular contact with people who we wish to support but don’t have contact with.”
If you know of someone or a family that would benefit from the scheme tell them to register with either the Foodbank or Parenting 2000 if they aren’t already and they will refer them to the café for support.
