The emergency services were called to Whitehouse Lane in Formby at around 12.30pm today, Monday 11 May.
A Nissan Micra crashed into a parked Vauxhall.
A local resident said:
“I heard an almighty smash, so I came out to see both cars in right mess”.
Another person at the scene said:
“The elderly driver of the Nissan Micra looked very shook up, I do hope he is okay.”
A police investigation is underway to find out the cause of the accident.
