Concern growing for missing woman

We are appealing for information after a 41-year-old woman went missing from Leyland.

Vikki Adamson was last seen around 11.15am yesterday (Monday, March 13) in Preston Road.

She was last in contact with friends later in the day around 7pm.

Vikki is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, of slim build with dark coloured, shoulder length hair. She was wearing a black leather jacket and black leggings when she went missing. She also wears a nose stud.

Sgt Neil Weaver, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Vikki’s welfare and are appealing to anyone who knows where she is to contact police immediately.

“We believe Vikki might have been in the Leyland town centre last night, possibly in pubs in the area.

“If you saw her, please get in touch.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 quoting log reference 1324 of March 13.
