A Southport Councillor seeks views on Hall Street Housing move November 10th, 2015 jmr jmr Latest News Shares Comments Photo: Lib Dem councillor Tony Dawson The Council is being asked to approve a new housing development on the site of the current EEC Energy offices on Hall Street, Southport. Local Lib Dem councillor Tony Dawson is interested to hear what local residents have to say about the move, which would create 35 studio apartments. He says: “The type of housing being put forward here is for small units. This type of development meets the greatest type of housing need in Southport which has been put forward to the Council, as opposed to the countless green belt executive homes proposals which come forward all the time. I would be interested to hear local residents’ views about this proposal.” Details of the proposal can be seen on the Council’s website: http://pa.sefton.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=NWMQ1RNWH8P00 Anyone wishing to pass on their views formally should contact the Council’s planning department but Councillor Dawson would also like to hear from you via: [email protected] Submit News Contact us with your community, business or sport news.
