Young Southport singer hits the right notes and lands Teenstar newcomer award
A young singer from Southport is hitting all the right notes after winning a Teenstar newcomer award.
Eight year old Astrid Smith is now enjoying a media tour as her name and talent grows across Merseyside.
Last week she performed at The Mcolls supermarket on Portland Street in a bid to raise money for a number of Breast Cancer Charities while this week she is setting her sights on a debut on BBC Radio Merseyside.
The plucky eight year old will appear live on BBC Radio with host Billy Butler where she’ll sing a medley of hits. Watch out for this rising star!
