Poets Maria Isakova Bennett and Michael Brown will read from their work inspired by Victorian art, and will lead a workshop making use of works from the Victorian Dreamers exhibition to provide starting points for writing.
The event is open to those new to writing poetry and to more experienced writers.
Maria and Michael, in addition to this event at The Atkinson gallery have worked together on projects in other Merseyside galleries as part of Light Night, Saturday Readings at the Walker Art Gallery, at the Lady Lever gallery, and on a piece of work for Tate Liverpool.
