Local young people can look forward to a summer jammed-packed with subsidised activities and events, thanks to Woodvale and Ainsdale Community Association.

Throughout August, the Community Association will be running a variety of fun activities for local children and young people aged between 10 and 19.

The sessions, which take place most days, include some all day events such as skiing and snow activities at Chill Factore, climbing at Awesome Walls and mountain biking at Delamere. Jamie Carragher Football Academy will be putting on weekly sessions to improve your skills.

Other activities include Blokarting, building a raft, Kayaking, sailing, archery, Paddle Boarding, cup cake decorating, treasure hunt, volleyball, rounders, orienteering, arts and crafts, building a den. For those activities not taking place locally there is minibus transportation from the Woodvale Community Centre.

Booking is essential, as most activities have limited places and fill up quickly.
