    Southport Race for Life 2015 – Women can enter here

    Join us by taking part in a Race for Life 2015 5k event. 5k is an achievable distance for all ages and abilities and you can run, walk or even dance your way around the course. Take part as an individual or gang up with friends and create your own group to really show cancer who’s in charge.

    You and your friends can also join the fight by volunteering. Our events can’t take place without the hundreds of people who give up their time for a few hours to set up the courses and get everyone in the Race for Life mood. Find out more and register to be a volunteer.

    This venue is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance.

    Price

    Adult entry (16+ women-only) – £14.99

    Child entry (6-15 girls and boys under 13) – £10.00

    Under 6 entry (boys and girls) – free and no registration needed

    This covers the cost of organising and running your event on the day. It does not contribute towards your sponsorship total, so please try and raise as much as you can to help Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work.
    The Course

    The Southport course starts off in Princes Park and then heads out around the pretty Kings Gardens before coming back to Princes Park. It’s a flat course with great views out to the sea.

    Meeting Point

    The start and finish will be in Princes Park, near Marine Drive.

    On the day

    This a great family day out so why not bring your friends and family along to support you and enjoy the atmosphere. Don’t forget to bring some change as there will a food, and other activities including face painting for the children.
