Woman set to appear in court on charges of child cruelty and attempted murder

A woman has been charged with  child cruelty and attempted murder after baby April was found in an Silcock’s Amusement Arcade’s toilets last week.

Nicola Glover, 29, of Hughes Avenue, Prescot has been charged with attempted murder and child cruelty.

She appeared at South Sefton Magistrates this morning, Wednesday, 22 April and has been remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, 6 May.

The baby was found int he toilets of Flavours Ice cream bar today after a report of a baby being found in the toilets, Thursday 16 April 2015. It is thought that the baby had been delivered in the toilets.

April has discharged from hospital and is now in the care of Knowsley Local Authority.
