Woman hit by car in Southport.

A woman has suffered minor injuries after being hit by a car on the esplanade this morning, Friday 17 August 2018.

Police were called to the roundabout near to Southport Lifeboat station just after 11.30 when a woman had been hit by a car as she stepped off the pavement towards the flower show.

Paramedics attends the scene but she did not need hospital treatment.

Any witnesses to the accident should call 10.
