Woman found collapsed and unconscious near Marine Lake.

A woman has been found collapsed and unconscious near to the Marine Gate apartment complex this morning, Friday 17 August 2018.

Three people stopped to help but could not revive the woman, believed to be in her early thirties, and an ambulance was called.

She is currently being treated for shock as it’s not known how long she was collapsed before she was discovered.

An update is expected from North West Ambulance Service shortly.
