Will Southport follow Liverpool parking charges cut?

The cost of parking your vehicle in Liverpool city centre in pay and display bays has been reduced.

Drivers will pay 10p less for up to an hour and 40p less for two hours.

The maximum stay will also be increased from two to four hours, with a capped price of £5.

The cost of parking all day at the Mount Pleasant car park will drop from £7 to £4.

Drivers in Southport are now asking the question “When will Southport have a parking charge cut?”
