Will John Pugh MP stand up and be counted over One Billion Pounds?
A Southport couple weas watching the new Yes Prime Minister TV series earlier this week and noticed they dropped a bombshell.
The Birkdale couple said: Do You remember all the fuss about Mark Dowd and the credit card? Well according to the story line in Yes PM. the card is issued to senior Civil/Public Servants, senior MPs (And others) as well as the likes of Mark Dowd.
It is supposed to be used for the likes of stationary, but is being used to pay for holidays, meals take aways and things like riding lessons for one civil servants daughter.
The money is hardly ever paid back, and the system is policed by the same people abusing it.
It is costing the tax payers of the UK over One Billion Pounds a year.
So with councils being forced to make drastic cut backs in services because the Government says savings need to be made, what about John Pugh MP standing up in Parliament and demanding that there is a police enquiry into this outright fraud of public money.
