Wild winds race across Ainsdale shoreline

    By Pat Regan24th November 2017

The weather boffins are telling us that snow and ice are on the horizon. Winter is settling in fast and the winds are starting to howl across the bleak shoreline at Ainsdale.

If you visit this wild stretch of northwest coast in a gale, then eye protection is a very good idea…

Formby Point seems closer than it actually is and sounds travel across the flat expanse with ease.

Is gold to be found at the end of this one – who knows?

Heavy winds and ripping sands seemed to be giving  this Ainsdale  kite man some problems.

The sand is crazy on there, so it has to be reiterated – take care of your eyes…

Needless to say, the recent downpours have partially flooded the Ainsdale Information Centre (old Lido) car park again making stout wellies a good idea…

And the tide rolls in once again, waiting for no one and expecting nothing back in return…
