Whoops! Police van crashes into parked car in Southport

A motorist thought it was safe to park on Princes Street Southport this morning (Tuesday 13 December, well it was until a police van crashed into it.

A witness told our reporter “I couldn’t actually believe it, any decent driver could get a tank in that fifty yard gap.”

Fortunately no one was seriously injured and minor damage caused to both vehicles.
