Where is Guitarist Johnny Gee now?
Johnny Gee was one of the Northwest’s most versatile guitarists, bringing his energy and enthusiasm to a wide variety of projects. During the late 50’s and early 60’s Johnny performed with his own band ‘JMQ Quartet’ at clubs all over the NW including Liverpool’ famous Cavern Club. He was hired by top bands and on one occasion played for Gerry Marsden (The Pacemakers). Johnny was born in Liverpool and now resides in Ainsdale, Southport. Johnny overcome throat cancer in 1989 and still entertains for free in local establishments. If you remember Johnny please leave a comment below.
