The West Lancs MG Owners club held their monthly meeting at Briars Hall Hotel on Thursday evening and as the nights are getting cold wet and windy it had been decided that we would have a race indoor. So out came the scalextric and with the track all put together it was time for a few practice laps under close scrutiny of a couple of marshals (Richard and Dave).

So with all the cars in the pit lane the eighteen members who thought they could become the next Lewis Hamilton registered with Mandy the race director the entry fee was £1.

As with all motor sports there was high speed action and thrills by all the competitors along with a few accidents and break downs as the races progressed.
