The first impressions tourists get when entering Southport from the north isn’t a very good one!

The main Plough roundabout is overgrown and without colour.  The tub under the “Welcome to Southport Floral Resort” sign is also overgrown with weeds.

The Meols ward area committee have funds that could be used to plant out these flower beds if any organisation etc would be prepared to help or sponsor.

Permission must be sought from Sefton Council to work on the highway.
