Weʼre raising £200 to help fund a prosthetic leg for Eric Armstrong by doing a skydive from 15,000 feet.

Weʼre raising £200 to help fund a prosthetic leg for Eric Armstrong by doing a skydive from 15,000 feet.

Charlie Hayward from Southport has set a Just giving page to raise money to help fund

Charlie said: “Eric Armstrong is a family friend, who recently has had his leg amputated. This has made many of the things that we take for granted such as driving, walking to the shops, playing with his children and simply getting around, especially difficult, bringing with it new challenges everyday.”

“Eric is a kind, loving and inspiring friend, sibling, father and son and it is for these reasons that I will be doing a skydive from 15,000 feet to help fund a new prosthetic leg for Eric.”

“Prosthetics can be very expensive and with the combined effort of others hosting fundraising events we hope the money raised in total will allow us to achieve this goal.”

“When at 15,000 feet, I want to be able to fall from the plane not only for the fun of the activity itself, but knowing by doing so, I will be able to help a friend overcome a difficulty that I can only begin to imagine how hard it is. Eric has a large family and many friends, and to me those things are so important, – that is why I am fundraising for Eric.”
