Water mains to appear to have burst along Moss Road in Birkdale causing water to come up through the drains and cracks that have opened up in the tarmac.
We spoke to a Moss road resident who said: “This problem has been going on for around a month, I wonder if its linked to the Hew housing development and there flooding problems”.

Water is now running down into Moss Close. A Moss road resident said: “The cracks in the road are getting bigger, I hope the road doesn’t collapse.”
United Utilities are aware of the situation but still nothing has been done.
