The club just announced they have submitted Planning for a new stadium to West Lancashire District Council.
Burscough FC Chairman, Mike Swift said:
“We are delighted to confirm that a planning application has recently been submitted to West Lancashire District Council for a new stadium for Burscough FC.
“It is proposed that the new ground is located on an adjacent plot of land only 100 yards from the current ground. Although Victoria Park has been home of Burscough FC for many years, the existing stadium is dilapidated and will not meet the ambitious future needs of the club”.
This season we have invested in the club and already have seen results, with the 1st team winning 10 out of their last 12 fixtures and moving up the league table. These are very exciting times for the Linnets with a winning team and our plans for a purpose built new stadium!”
