WATCH | Brexit MP hopeful claims to be victim of town centre assault

A Brexit MP hopeful from Southport claims to have been assaulted by a remainder following a public meeting in a town centre pub.

Brexit Party candidate Darcy Taylor-Berkeley claims to have been assaulted outside the Wetherspoons pub on Lord street this evening.

Darcy says “On leaving a Wetherspoons this evening after a Leavers of Britain meeting. I was approached by a man and he went on to strike me. He was a remainer. It has been reported to the police.”
