Birkdale car crash causes rush hour chaos
Emergency services were called to the junction of Liverpool Road and Crescent road at around 4pm this afternoon following a report of a two car collision, Thursday 12 January 2017.
The injured occupants in both vehicles were treated at the scene by paramedics before being transferred to Southport Hospital.
The extent of their injuries and not know at this time.
The Crescent road junction was closed to traffic and local diversions in operation whilst traffic police carried investigations.
