    Wastewater surveillance made simple with qPCR kits

    Wastewater surveillance allows public health officials to track contagious illnesses and environmental risks. They do this by examining human sewage in manholes and treatment plants. 

    QPCR kits are revolutionising the way wastewater surveillance is carried out. Technology used in these kits improve the process’s effectiveness, speed and scalability. 

    What is wastewater surveillance?

    Designed to be ultra-specific, these kits are ideal when working within high through-put programmes. They can pick up on any large frequencies and patterns of DNA, making it easier to find target DNA within large samples. Simplifying the data collection process.

    Suitable for both small labs and large monitoring programmes, qPCR kits are highly scalable. They’re able to transition from low-throughput research to high through-put diagnostic programmes, as seen in wastewater surveillance.
