Warning sign tells drivers there’s no ‘poading’!
Confused drivers may be wondering why they’re not allowed to lark on the Esplanade.
But if that’s not confusing enough, they’re also told they’re not allowed to do any ‘Poading’ either.
The confusing sign on the Esplanade near to the Park and Ride in Southport has motorists tickled after a gaffe at the printers saw some of the letters jumbled up.
Clearly there was nobody around to check the sign and the mistake wasn’t spotted even during its erection
While the sign should tell drivers that there is no loading or parking there during the Open golf, the sign instead warns people that there is no ‘poading or larking’
