The good people of Southport have been spending their hard-earned money on what they thought was silver jewellery. Well today (Tuesday 18 August 2015) a customer who had suspicion on the quality his purchase decided to take it to a local jeweler to be tested for purity.
below is the result.
The customer returned and the trader was not available therefore informed the market office who said they are not responsible for fake items being sold.
below is the £12 925 silver bracelet.
The customer has tried to inform Sefton Council of this matter but they apparently no longer have a department.
