Coming to the Atkinson in Southport is Warhorse songman Bob Fox .After playing the part of the songman in the world famous Michael Morpurgo stage production of Warhorse since 2011 Box Fox has embarked on a world tour and is coming to Southport as part of the Southport Festival.
Since the early 70s, Bob Fox has lovingly developed his skills in the performance of folk song in all its various forms. He has toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand, has collaborated with many top musicians and is the recipient of numerous accolades and awards. His work includes The Pitmen Poets and the BBC Radio Ballads as well as many acclaimed solo recordings.
Bob has been nominated many times at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards as Folk Singer of the year he is a superb performer don’t miss this rare chance to catch Bob performing songs from Warhorse and much more.
