Virus deniers deface Southport social distancing notices

25th July 2020

Virus deniers have turned their attentions to social distancing adverts in Southport by defacing them.

Unknown Coronavirus deniers have scrawled the word “Hoax” across floor stickers on Lord Street which are designed to encourage social distancing.

A complaint has now been raised to the council to get the graffiti removed.

One resident said “this social distance marker needs replacing in Southport.

“Some uneducated numpty has edited them.”

It comes just a few days after anti-virus campaigners claimed that mask wearing would then lead to mandatory microchipping.
