A van driver had a lucky escape after his wheel fell off while travelling at speeds down Churchill Avenue.

The driver had to slam on and swerve out of the way after his wheel fell off during a delivery.

The road has been closed off the road while recovery firms are en route with specialist equipment to remove the van.
