Merseyside Police assisted Gloucestershire Constabulary in the execution of arrest warrants at 6.40am today (Wednesday 3 May, 2017) at an address in Dover Road, Southport.
A 39-year-old male and a 26-year-old female were arrested and taken for questioning on suspicion of conspiring to supply class A drugs.
The arrests came under an operation by Gloucestershire Police supported by officers from Merseyside Police.
