This summer there’s really never been a better time to get into Tennis. Whether you are looking to challenge your skills against an opponent or just try it for the first time, we’re bound to have something for you.

This weekend sees the launch of the first ‘Tennis for Frees’ coach-led sessions at Maghull Town Hall Tennis Courts. Starting on Sunday 24 July from 2pm to 4pm the events for all the family continue for 12 months thanks to a partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association. All you need to do is book in advance on the websitewww.maghulltennis.co.uk then just come along. You don’t even need to have a racket as all equipment is provided.

Sessions still take place at Victoria Park, Crosby every Sunday from 1pm – 3pm. These popular events are also part of the Tennis for Free programme and all abilities are welcome.

If you’re looking for something a little more challenging, why not try the Local Tennis Leagues? You can play against a competitor at a venue of your choice across Sefton. Book your court for free at www.seftonparkstennis.co.uk
