Triathlon participant raises funds for Southport charity
Michael Barlow ran the Chester Triathlon recently and fundraised £690 for the Southport and Ormskirk Paediatric Diabetes and Endocrine Fund charity.
Dr May Ng , Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist set up the fund 10 years ago for essential learning and teaching materials for patients, and for the team to hold regular evening education sessions for families and children with diabetes.
Dr Ng and her team has won many national awards such as the 2018 Mary McKinnon Diabetes UK, Winner of 2015 national Diabetes Quality in Care, 2015 highly commended Diabetes team of the year national British Medical Journal awards and team pride award.
