Trek bontrega road bike stolen from Birkdale Village
An expensive bike has been stolen from outside a Birkdale coffee shop. The black and orange trek bontrega road bike was swiped from outside Costa Coffee in Birkdale around 3.30pm yesterday afternoon (Monday 14 August).
Police have been alerted to the theft and are now investigating, however the mum of the bikes owner had made a direct appeal to OTS readers to get in touch with any information.
She said’ “it was taken by Costa in Birkdale by a skinny scruffy lad aged around his early 20s.
He wasunshaven,his hair was short on the sides with a long fringe and he wore Blue jeans, t shirt with a grey jacket. “He was very dirty and sruffy.”
