Traffic slow following Cambridge Road crash

Hard working Police shattered from a night of Halloween patrols have rushed to the scene of a rush hour crash, Thursday 1 November 2018.

Two cars collided in a none serious accident on Cambridge Road near to Bibby Road in the early morning rush this morning.

Officers were already in the area at the time of the crash and came to the aid of drivers to help mediate the situation.

The wet road surface is thought to have played a part in the lead up to the smash.

A witness told our reporter at the scene: “Officers assessed occupants of both vehicles with none needing any hospital treatment.”

Traffic is expected to be slow in the area while an investigation is ongoing
