Three Southport men jailed for part in Merseyside gun gang
Glynn Incledon, aged 62, of Southport Road, Scarisbrick, and John Edwards, aged 49, of Railway Terrace, Southport were both jailed for six years and eight months at Liverpool Crown Court today (Monday 24th February 2014).
Incledon and Edwards were described as being near ‘the top tier’ in a plot to supply “deadly weapons” to Merseyside criminals.
Incledon had sourced the weapons from Edwards to be sold on.
Steven Greenwood, aged 51 of Russell Road, Southport, was sentenced to five years for his role in transporting the weapon.
In total the Merseyside gang of eleven were jailed for combined total of almost 80 years.
