Three men assault a runner in Hesketh Park Southport

At around 4.10 this evening a man was running through Hesketh Park (Queens Road side) on approaching THREE men (looking 20’s) tracksuits, black hats on, ran passed minding his own business when they jumped him kicking him to the head and chest.

A dog walker passing by shouted and disturbed them and they ran off.

The man who was assaulted was left with cuts and bruises the face and body.

The incident was reported to Merseyside Police. Anyone with information is asked to contact Merseyside Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
