Three car crash causes heavy traffic on Formby bypass
A three vehicle smash has created heavy traffic around the Formby bypass this morning, Thursday 16 February 2017.
The accident took place at around 7:45am on the A565 heading southbound approaching the tesco traffic lights.
A Vauxhall and two BMWs were involved in the three vehicle collision which took place in the Liverpool bound carriage way.
Merseyside Fire Service attended the scene and traffic management measures were put in place. Fortunately roads remained open.
