Churctown Dry Cleaning Centre was broken into overnight (Thursday/Friday 23 January 2015).

Staff discovered the break-in this morning when opening up the Marshside Road business.

The thieves used a sledgehammer that was found in an outbuilding to smash through the fire doors at the rear of the building.

It appears that thieves knew what they were looking for as they targeted the till and cash box. At this time it is understood that nothing else was taken.

Churctown Dry Cleaning Centre remains open despite the disruption.

Police forensics have yet to attend the scene 2pm, Friday 23 January.
