Thieves have ransacked a Tarleton garden centre.
Thieves broke into the Tarleton based wholesale plant nursery of Florna Plants Ltd.
A 3.5acre ‘state of the art’ twin skinned multispan polytunnel was cut open and a significant amount of newly transplanted packs of Primroses were stolen.
In a separate block, glass was smashed to gain entry and a crop of Mini Cyclamen was walked over with many destroyed creating much crop damage as well many more stolen plants.
It’s thought the thieves must have used a vehicle to take the stolen property away down a farm track near to the building.
Lancashire Police are now investigating/
